BLOOD DONATION CAMP ORGANIZED IN ZIRAKPUR NEAR CHANDIGARH

On September 6, 2015, a blood donation camp was organized by the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation at Sant Nirnakari Satsang Bhawan, Zirakpur near Chandigarh where 204 devotees of the Sant Nirankari Mission, including 25 women donated their blood.
The Camp was inaugurated by Shri N.K. Sharma, Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Punjab. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Sharma said that to donate blood voluntarily and with selfless spirit is a great service to humanity being done by followers of the Sant Nirankari Mission. Blood can be donated only by a person guided by the feelings of love and compassion. He thanked Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj for encouraging the Mission to hold such camps from time to time.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. B.S. Cheema, Zonal In-charge Chandigarh thanked Shri Sharma for inaugurating the camp and encouraging the donors. He said that the series of blood donation camps organized by the Foundation throughout the year serves as a great source of unity or oneness of the mankind. Human blood, he said, knows no caste, colour, creed or religion, language or culture.
The blood collected teams came from General Hospital, Sector-16, Chandigarh and General Hospital, Mohali.
The local Mukhi Shri Jaswant Singh thanked the Chief Guest, Dr. Cheema, donors and other devotees.
