189 NIRANKARI DEVOTEES DONATE BLOOD AT PAONTA SAHIB IN HIMACHAL PRADESH

On June 19, 2016, 189 devotees of the Sant Nirankari Mission donated their blood at a voluntary blood donation camp held at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhavan in Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh. Organized under the auspices of the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, the camp was inaugurated by Shri R.P. Tiwari, President of a local Social Welfare Voluntary Organization called Himotkarsh.

 Speaking on the occasion, Shri Tiwari said that the Mission was doing a great service to humanity by organising blood donation camps across the world. He also appreciated the Mission’s convention to bow at each other’s feet and said that it was a great lesson to get rid of one’s ego and adopt humility.

Dr. BS Cheema, Zonal Incharge, Chandigarh congratulated the organizers and the donors. Shri Sohan Lal Bassi, Kshetriya Sanchalak, Panchkula said that the volunteers were guided by the words of Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj that ‘blood should flow in veins and not in drains’.

The blood collecting team came from the local Indira Gandhi Medical College.
