A blood donation camp was organized at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan in Raipur Rani near Chandigarh on Sunday, July 17, 2016, where 382 Nirankari volunteers including 66 women, donated their blood.
Organized under the auspices of the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, the camp was inaugurated by Dr. B.S. Cheema Ji, Zonal Incharge Chandigarh. An 18-Member blood collecting team led by Dr. Ajay Kumar came from Government Medical College, Sector 32, Chandigarh.
Blessing the donors, Dr. Cheema Ji said the donation of blood is the noblest service of humanity because it helps those who struggle between life and death. Moreover, it goes a long way to strengthen the spirit of universal brotherhood and human unity. No wonder, even world level health organizations have appreciated the Sant Nirankari Mission for its impressive contribution towards blood donation.
The local Mukhi Shri Amarish Walia and Sewadal Sanchalak Shri Surinder Mohan looked after all the arrangements of the camp.
