150 Devotees Donate Blood in Vikasnagar in Uttarakhand

A blood donation camp was organized under the auspices of the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation at the Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Vikasnagar, district Dehradun in Uttarakhand on Sunday, October 2, 2016. The devotees of the Sant Nirankari Mission donated 150 units of blood. The blood collecting team led by Shri Amit Chandra, Coordinator and Dr. Aprana Singh came from Shri Mahant Indresh Hospital, Dehradun.

Organized under the guidance of Shri Harbhajan Singh Ji, Zonal Incharge, Mussoorie and conducted by Shri Sahab Ram, Mukhi and Shri Vinod Kumar, Sanchalak, the camp was inaugurated by Shri Nav Prabhat Minister for Transport, Uttarakhand, while Ex – MLA Shri Kuldip Kumar, Block President, Smt. Tara Devi and several other dignitaries were also present. Shri Nav Prabhat appreciated the spirit of devotion and dedication of the donors and their source of inspiration, Nirankari Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj.

Shri Harbhajan Singh Ji said that the Mission is a leading blood donating voluntary organization of the country. It has donated nearly 8 lakh Units of blood since 1986 through such camps organized across the country round the year. The devotees of the Mission are always prepared to participate in the rescue and relief measures during natural calamities, wherever they occur, he said.
