With the blessings of Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj, a blood donation camp was organised on May 28, 2017 at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Rajgarh in Himachal Pradesh, under the auspices of Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation. In this camp 128 devotees, including 18 women, donated their blood.
The camp was inaugurated by Ms Soumya Sambasivan IPS, Superintendent of Police, Sirmour. Ms Sambasivan said, “Sant Nirankari Mission is the most organised and disciplined Mission, world over. It has set an exampe in the field of social work and welfare with its selfless conribution and service to the society.”
Dr. B.S. Cheema Zonal Incharge, Sant Nirankari Mandal, Chandigarh, while addressing the donors and devotees, said that these camps are devoted to the vision of Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, where he emphasised that ‘blood should flow in veins and not in drains’. The present Nirankari Satguru, Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj is also aiming at establishing peace, brotherhood and oneness in the world. Her Holiness is making people aware of God-knowledge and bringing the mankind closer to this knowledge and to each other.
A six-member team from Indira Gandhi Medical College headed by Dr. Victor Masih, Senior Resident Blood Bank collected the blood. Dr. Masih said that Nirankari Mission is making wonderful contribution in the field of blood donation.
