661 Nirankari Devotees Donate Blood in Hoshiarpur, Punjab

With the divine blessings of Her Holiness Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj, 661 devotees of the Sant Nirankari Mission, including 228 women, donated their blood at a blood donation camp organized on August 12, 2017 at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Hoshiarpur in Punjab.

The donors came from Hoshiarpur, Garshankar, Mahilpur, Rihana Jattan, Bullowal, Sham Chaurasi, Garhdewala and Ajjowal. The blood collecting teams came from Civil Blood Banks in Hoshiarpur, Mukerian, Dasuha, Garshankar and Bhai Kanhaiya Charitable Blood Bank, Hoshiarpur.

Organized under the auspices of the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, the camp was inaugurated by Zonal Incharge Shri Ajmer Singh Sandhu. He said that blood donation is a means to express our devotion to God and dedication to Satguru. It has already become a sacred movement among the devotees in the mission. So far 9,12,357 units of blood have been donated in 5273 camps by the Mission.

Speaking on the occasion, the local MLA Shri Shyam Sunder Arora appreciated the Mission’s contribution towards the service of humanity. He said the Mission is bringing man closer to man which is the most cherished need today. Dr. Raj Kumar Raj, MLA from Chabbewal distributed badges and certificates to the donors. The local Mayor Shri Shiv Sood said that every citizen should take inspiration from Nirankari devotees and come forward to participate in this noble cause of donating blood.

The Local Mukhi Smt. Subhadra Ji thanked Shri Sandhu, all the esteemed dignitaries, donors and Sadh Sangat for making the camp a success. She also thanked Sewadal Adhikaris and volunteers who came from all the branches participating in the camp.
