SNCF Adds Greenery to Swachh City Indore

Furthering to Planting 70000 saplings at Machal on 1st July, 2018, Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation today planted another 50000 saplings of local varieties at Ranbhanwar Hill in Jamuniya Khurd village, Indore with the help of Forest Department participating in Times of India-Hero Green Drive 2018 on 22nd July, 2018. With today’s plantation, SNCF has planted 10 lakhs saplings at different places across India till date. In today’s drive more than 5000 volunteers of SNCF took part with great dedication and discipline. The volunteers had arrived from not only Indore but Dewas, Jhabua, Ujjain, Petlawad etc. also to participate in the drive. Despite inclement weather the volunteers were extremely happy to contribute in improving the environment.

 

Such was the enthusiasm of the participants that public representatives, administrative officials and the public at large fell short of words to appreciate the work being done for nature. State Energy Minister Paras Jain who hails from Ujjain, resolved to make a similar drive in his city also taking inspiration from Indore. Shri Jain appreciated the spirit of Sant Nirankari Mission volunteers and invited them to do the similar work in Ujjain also. Smt. Malini Lakshman Singh Gaur, Mayor lauded the plantation work and heartily appreciated the SNCF volunteers for participating in such a large number. Mr. Nishant Warwade, IAS, Collector, was present with his children and greatly admired the selfless spirit of SNCF volunteers. Ms. Nidhi Nivedita, ADM, Mr. Deepak Jain, Corporator, Mr. Harinarainachari Mishra, IPS, DIG, Mr. Purushottam Dhiman, Chief Conservator Forest and Mr. Rajesh Makhija of Hero Motocorp also graced the occasion and planted trees. Forest Department officials helped the volunteers a great deal in plantation.

 

With the kind blessing of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, SNCF is organizing Cleanliness Drives in Railways, Government Hospitals, Monuments etc. Also Tree Plantations, Blood Donation Camps and other developmental jobs are being regularly done.
